@MechPhantom ya but people saying shoalin monks are gods is alittle much i agree and also tai chi is a relly confusing art yes it is made for medical? perpouses now but they are not suppose to sparr cause they are to practice there movements daily so they become custom to the reflexs's and they happen naturally, yes it sounds hard to beleieve and sometimes i even have doubts about tai chi cause it sounds so crazy but i accualy works, it takes 65 years at best to master tai chi

@auzzie8778 after chinese communit took control during the 70/80s, they nearly killed ALL monks, and they had t oescapd to countries like singapore,msia,taiwan and so on. Coz they are afraid of rebellion so they changed all fighting kung fu into wushu, just for performance nothing else. Thats expalins why theres alot of fake? shaolin monks nowadays but there are very few real monks that can fight, which doesnt do fancy stuff, only train to fight. @MechPhantom i did come on strong in my last comment but im doing shoalin kempo (5 animal fist) and its only because i was raised in a enviroment of shoalin being number 1 and shoalin fits me best also so that is also why i said what i said, but it still seemed as u were talking? down to me about my arts and i dont like that at all, and what are you talking about traditional shoalin hasnt changed at all it has been the same for the last 5000 years, unlike moderan shoalin kung fu

THey have 2 arms and legs, you and me too, if they can do those things ,its proof u can too. @auzzie8778 u will only mostly see prevailing modern wushu there nothing else mate. yea tai chi means supreme ultimate fist, but that doesnt mean it is, coz i have seen tai chi fighters? lose in full contact sparringetc. But mostly now tai chi is for health while baji is for fighting.Im very sorry if i ever offended you in any way, coz its not my intention to do so, i respect you an all arts, but i just dont like ppl that keep claiming that shaolin monks are Gods etc which is obvious

@auzzie8778 for centuries and only it came about the 1970s/80s when jet li starred in the movie shaolin temple, and after that alot of these so called "real shaolin" that promises to teach you the ancient techniques school start appearing around the temple it self. But in the end they are just there for tourism attraction and getting as much? moeny from the tourist as possible somehow you can say it is corrupted for a monk.
