Microsoft has long dominated the OS market share... XP was their most prized achievement, but with Windows Vista dooming Microsoft for ages and ages to come, Linux remains the champion. Microsoft needs to adopt an open-source policy to cut down on that terrible wait cycles, from Microsoft forums --> Microsoft acknowledges --> fix not yet released --> patch released --> download the patch and wait for another patch for the same problem. And Windows' file system and registry get always bloated

@cyanspider They are aimed at very different markets and devices and can't be compared at all. It's a netbook operating system, just like Ubuntu netbook and Jolicloud. Windows 7 shouldn't touch devices like that because its designed to run on machines that are more capable due to their size. Booting in seconds however is impressive, for any operating system. Windows 7 sure can't do that either.

This is exactly right. The virus/worm/malware is saved on the hard drive, which stores information even when the computer is turned off (see my video on hard drives and RAM on YouTube for more details on this). The virus gets included in what the "baby learns" and continues to be a problem.

Snow leopard needs more hardware and software. All of my Fav hard and software don't work on OS-X or is lacking quality compared to Windows. The problem is the way google adresses the public, regarding Chrome OS. It's like: You want to play 3rd party, non-flash games? - You can't! You want to use software from basic picture editors to 3D modelling? - You can't! You want to share files with other people? - You can't! And on top of that, you should buy a computer just for Chrome OS, although you might already have one that already does everything you need. hey, thought i'd comment since im on flow right now. i booted it from my 2gig usb drive. its pretty cool, cause when you sign into your user, it automatically logs into all your google services (gmail, youtube). and theres no drivers on it, so everytime i switch from my mouse to my keyboard, i have to click, or type a few letters before it starts working. its pretty much point less thought. but its pretty cool having an os on my usb.

chris's chat is unbelievable, the mods that are there are soo stupid. I did the tiniest little thing, i said "wazuuuuuup" and the mods decided to silence me because it was aparennt abusive behaviour and flooding when i didnt use more then one line. after lots silences i finally gave in and said "im gona give up because some people are being pathetic i know im right, thats all that matters" so they decided to kick me. I DID NOTHING WRONG. they always silence and kick me and im fed up of it.

@Dylatch there are more factors: availability of negative pitch, the incredible power to weight ratio, material resistance and of course human limitations :) Plus, it's easier to do this in third person view with a remote than when sitting in a choppa.
