apple wants hype around the next iphone. gizmodo would've taken it down already if it was fake....its only 5 weeks away..calm down why wouldn't it be the iphone 4g it looks like something crappy apple would come out? with....its not like new software. just a different faceplate lol.

Hmm as long as the Osborne effect doesn't take effect. The Osborne effect being where a product is announced too early, and therefore nobody buys the older one in anticipation of the new model. This means the company runs out of money so cannot make the new model and just goes bankrupt. Well, of course Apple has tonnes of money, so I doubt they'll go bankrupt, but meh. You? must understand what I mean. Anyway! Amazing video Adrian, a good listing of all your thoughts.

@stopthepolicestate Hmm like i said in my previous video, i doubt that apple leaked the phone to get our feedback, they dont care as much? about our feedback on design, they have a vision and do what they want, even if its uglu to us its great in there vision and they know we will buy it..

Here is? a thought..Maybe it was a prototype of a sort and it was released to gage some of the design..not the actual current design..I think it looks a lot like an ipad. That being said the ipad is great but some were disappointed by a few things some of us techies wanted and maybe this was some sort of test to see if their vision is on the right track. Maybe a false clue and it will be totally different. Just thoughts..

Some may also not be impressed with the new iPhone from however Gizmodo presented it and make the switch to one of those new HTC phones... Fake leaks are in no way Apple's style... they receive enough free publicity from TV shows and Movies with people using the iPhone. If Apple is going to promote something they? are no doubt going to make you go WOW!

Keynotes are HUGE to apple.. when we all first seen the iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad who was unveiling the device??? Steve? Jobs. How is the Keynote going to look now that we already seen the device already? In Apple's eyes the first person to show their products is Steve Jobs... NOT some ugly Gizmodo blogger with is face next to the iPhone. This leaked in some ways tainted the iPhone. Apple did NOT planned this and this is troublesome to apple.

to people thinking this was a planned leak: celeb publicity(singer, actress, model, etc..) any publicity is good publicity... sex scandals, crazy tattoos, outrages haircuts. Tech promotion is COMPLETELY different. Apple is an egotistical company. they would never want to associate themselves with irresponsibility like misplacing a phone. The Apple's brand represents attention to detail. Apple? does not want to associate their products in a bad light. They always had enough publicity.

Don't get me wrong I think your vids are really good and detailed that's why I watch them just sometimes it? seems like u could wrap it all up in one video instead of doing different parts to the same thing..I'm pretty sure the iPhone will have some changes by the time it comes out,apple should maybe send out a statement .

@amit666715 You'd only be right if everyone else felt the same way. I think Adrian does a great job covering the topics the way he does because it keeps me interested. I mean yeah you could just put his points on a slide show by bullet points but how dull would that be? Oh and Adrian, don't forget the iphone? 4g's case. They made it look like a 3GS and that proves that they expected the phone to be taken off campus right? Great video btw but man revision time now! I have exams on monday!

@DRBUK 2nd point is this, out of all the media that could have been contacted if you found a prototype from Apple, I personally think that Gizmodo would have been so far down the list. Like you said why did this kid not contact Walt or Ihnatko, two massive icons in American Tech journalism.
